Tate Armstrong – President
Mr. Tate Armstrong serves as the chief officer for the company located at the Laurel headquarters office. He is in charge of all of the company’s lines of business with primary focus on project development, leasing, construction, and project financing. In 1998 Mr. Armstrong formed Konterra Realty with a Gould family partnership that now has 13 employees. Mr. Armstrong has been directly responsible for over one million square feet of new building development and land development of over 500 acres in the Washington-Baltimore corridor. He serves on the Laurel Regional Hospital Foundation Executive Board, is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Mr. Armstrong received an A.B. from Duke University in 1977 and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 1985.
Rich McCoy – Executive Vice President
Mr. Rich McCoy serves as the Executive Vice President of the Company. He joined Konterra Realty in 2000 and is in charge of asset management, property management and leasing sides of operations, with substantial involvement in development. Mr. McCoy has supervised the management of over ten million square feet in various projects, both urban and suburban, for private and institutional owners. He has served as the development project manager for various suburban development projects, including several build-to-suit projects for international clients. Mr. McCoy began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse, and before becoming involved in the real estate industry he was a registered investment advisor specializing in the futures markets. Mr. McCoy received a BA from Muhlenberg College an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jessica Kelley – Leasing Representative
Ms. Jessica Kelley performs a variety of functions for Konterra Realty, including leasing, project management, property management and construction management. Ms. Kelley acts as a primary leasing representative for the Maryland and Virginia properties in the Konterra Realty portfolio and has successfully negotiated several hundred thousand square feet of leases over the past eight years. Ms. Kelley has assisted in the construction management of more than 350,000 sf of new development, as well as more than 200,000 sf of tenant improvement construction. In addition, Ms. Kelley is a LEED AP and serves as the Ownership’s in-house LEED Consultant. Ms. Kelley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware.
Kim Foster – Controller
Ms. Kim Foster serves as Controller for the Company. When she joined Konterra Realty in 2012, Ms. Foster had more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. She supervises the Accounts Payable and Lease Administration departments and is responsible for the financial statement reporting, documentation of accounting procedures, submittal of draw schedules for development projects and customizing reports in MRI. Ms. Foster received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore, is a licensed CPA and a member of the MACPA.
Nina Yannuzzi – Lease Administrator
Ms. Nina Yannuzzi serves as Lease Administrator for the Company. Ms. Yannuzzi is responsible for abstracting leases, operating expense reconciliations, accounts receivable, and certificates of insurance. With 12 years of experience in the real estate industry, Ms. Yannuzzi manages leases from execution of the lease through the expiration of lease terms. Ms. Yannuzzi interacts with tenants to coordinate compliance of the Lease requirements. She continuously tracks all critical dates, rent charges and details of leases and other legal documentation.
